Nominations

Please note: nominations for this years awards have now closed

The focus of the 2009 Australian Bicycling Achievement Awards is on accomplishments related to cycling in during 2009 although providing a context of past involvement is acceptable.

There are three components to the nominations:

  1. Nomination form (contact details of nominator as well as nominee)
  2. A short summary of the nominee's contribution to cycling or outline of the program/initiative (up to 100 words). Note, this summary will be used in the Bicycling Achievement Award booklet to be published for the Awards.
  3. A more detailed outline of the nomination providing details of the achievements, partnerships, outcomes and commitment (up to 800 words) Photos and other supporting documentation may be provided as attachments.

Deadline for nominations

Nominations for the Awards closed Monday 12 April 2010.

Conditions of entry

The application form and entry must be lodged by the closing date. Judging of the finalists will be completed by the panel appointed by the Cycling Promotion Fund. The decision of the Judging Panel will be final. The Cycling Promotion Fund intends to use the information provided to promote and inform about best practice and achievements in increasing cycling in this country.

In nominating for these awards, entrants agree to make themselves available for publicity purposes (within reason). Sensitive commercial information will be treated as confidential. The Judging Panel reserves the right to request further information from nominees in support of their entry. Finalists are encouraged to the attend the award presentation, or appoint a representative.
